Pakistan young batter, Saim Ayub, is setting the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) ablaze with his exceptional performances.
Ayub, a left-handed opener, has impressively recorded three consecutive half-centuries in the ongoing tournament.
In his latest feat, Ayub played a scintillating innings, scoring 85 runs off just 53 balls for the Guyana Amazon Warriors against the Jamaica Tallawahs on Wednesday.
During his explosive knock, he struck five fours and an equal number of sixes. Thanks to Ayub’s heroics, Guyana secured a convincing seven-wicket victory while chasing down a target of 153 runs.

In the overall CPL 2023 statistics, Ayub stands as the leading run-scorer with a remarkable aggregate of 288 runs, having an impressive average of 48 and a stunning strike-rate of 157.

Furthermore, he shares the honor of hitting the most sixes in the CPL, with 20 to his name. Ayub’s remarkable performances have also earned him three consecutive Player of the Match awards.
Ayub’s incredible form extends beyond the recent match; he previously notched fifties in the matches against the Barbados Royals (58 off 35) and the Trinbago Knight Riders (62 off 43).
It’s worth noting that Saim Ayub has participated in eight T20I matches during his relatively short career for Pakistan since making his debut in March of this year against Afghanistan. In these T20Is, he has accumulated 123 runs in seven innings, with his highest score being 49.
